Redevelopment

Replacement of original stable yard. Client needed fewer stables, more garages and stores in same footprint since in green belt. Same section used for both but stables set back to give covered walkway which links with garage court. Dark green special stable doors and transparent roof ridge vents supplied from Germany together with black garage door frames and white pointed brickwork give the scheme crispness.

Reid Architects was formed in 1990 and the practice has completed a large number of both residential and commercial projects, including housing schemes and home extensions.
