One of many completed housing schemes for developers.

Howe Dell Primary School originally occupied central listed buildings now converted by others. Planners dictated low density of 24 dwellings on remainder of site, which enabled housing to be laid around two generous greens with covered parking hidden in corners. Picturesque quality of housing with varying rendered gables and brick chimneys echoes the listed buildings.

Reid Architects was formed in 1990 and the practice has completed a large number of both residential and commercial projects, including housing schemes and home extensions.
